"With a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, and a vast portfolio of magnificent sculptures created in various regions of China, I embarked upon a new journey in Hong Kong in 1984, reuniting with my family. Undeterred by the challenges of starting anew, I held steadfast to my principle of integrity, guiding my steps as I created, contributed, and explored within the art scene of this vibrant city. I am proud to now call myself a member of its artistic community."

"I have known Mr. Chu for 39 years, and he has been a constant source of inspiration and guidance in my life. It all started when he was introduced to me as my piano teacher's husband and my private tuition student's dad.

When Mr. Chu first arrived in Hong Kong and started a new chapter in his life, he was quiet, struggling to understand the local dialect and make his way in this unfamiliar place. But one day, he gave me a small bas relief of Beethoven, and I was struck by its vividness, its power. At that moment, I could feel the love and care he put into every stroke of his sculpting tools, and I knew that art was his language.

Years have passed, and now we can chat and laugh together easily, but his sculptures still speak volumes. I have been honored to work alongside Mr. Chu on many commissioned projects, and I have curated solo exhibitions for him in Hong Kong in 2002 and 2011.

Mr. Chu has been recognized for his contributions to the art community, receiving the Award of Honor from the Hong Kong government in 2007. His sculptures of Bruce Lee, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Chinese calligraphy such as "Home," and abstract works filled with philosophical meaning all radiate positivity and bring joy to those who encounter them.

His perseverance and resilience in the face of challenges are a testament to his character and have made him a role model and life mentor to me. His art is a reflection of the beauty and strength that exist within us all, and I am grateful to call him my friend.

I am thrilled to announce the upcoming exhibition for Mr. Chu in July 2023 in Los Angeles, where he will showcase his magnificent masterpiece - the Bruce Lee sculpture. This will be a remarkable opportunity for audiences to experience the talent and skill of Mr. Chu, and to admire the beauty of this stunning work of art. I cannot wait to share this moment with everyone, and to bask in the radiance of Mr. Chu's art."
